5 Fun Ways to Stay Hydrated with Water Alternatives

Let’s be real: staying hydrated is one of those things we all know we should do, but sometimes it just feels…meh. Especially if you’re juggling a busy lifestyle—between your social life, work, and keeping fit—water can get a little lost in the mix. But hydration doesn’t have to be bland. Here are five fun, practical water alternatives to keep your H₂O game strong, stay motivated, and feel good while you’re at it.

1. Get creative with infusions

Half the struggle of staying hydrated is that water can get boring very quickly. If you’re craving some flavour, try an infusion. Add slices of lemon, cucumber, mint, berries, or stone fruit to your water for a refreshing way to make things interesting.

Pro tip: adding a small pinch of pink Himalayan salt to the mix will help to keep you hydrated and naturally enhance the flavours in your infusion!

2. Make it sparkle

If still water isn’t cutting it (even with an infusion) you can always sub-in sparkling water. We can’t tell you exactly why (because we don’t know), but there’s something about sparkling water that feels luxurious, so it’s a great way to make hydrating feel fun. Pour it into your Chillys Cup and go about your day feeling a little bougie.

3. Mix it up with a herbal iced tea

Before you pack-in for the night, brew your favourite herbal tea (we love mint, hibiscus, and ginger), let it cool and throw it in the fridge overnight. In the morning transfer it to your Chilly’s bottle or cup and you have an insanely refreshing mix to take with you on your adventures.

4. Coconut water: tropical vibes, anytime

For a taste of the tropics, reach for coconut water. It’s naturally sweet, packed with electrolytes, and perfect for post-workout recovery or a mid-day boost. Grab a bottle and feel like you’re on holiday (even if you’re just heading to your next meeting).

5. DIY sports drinks

Skip the store-bought stuff and make your own sports drink. Mix water with a pinch of salt, a squeeze of lime, and a dash of honey. It’s a fun, natural way to replenish electrolytes and keep your energy up—an absolute must, whether you’re dancing at a festival or working on your latest project.

Stay hydrated, stay healthy

Hydration is about more than just water. It’s about feeling good, looking good, and being your best for whatever comes next. With a little creativity and the right gear (like your favourite Chillys Bottle or Cup), you can make hydration a highlight of your day.
