We want to recycle your old reusable bottles, from any brand
For the month of June, Chilly’s is asking everyone to send in their unloved, broken or damaged reusable bottles. Chilly’s will recycle them so the valuable materials they are made from are used again.
We are taking back any reusable bottle from any brand or company (excluding glass, ceramic and single-use plastic).
This is a trial scheme, so to encourage as many people to take part as possible we’re giving £5 off a new Chilly’s reusable*. We want to understand how this scheme could work longer-term if we take back more than we make.
In July, we’ll be reverting to our usual trade in scheme where you can recycle old Chilly’s products, so please post your bottle(s) by 1st July to be part of this scheme. We’ll be reviewing how this month has gone to work out what is next for Chilly’s Trade In!

Log the details of your old bottle/s you want to recycle below. You can send up to 10 bottles in one go. Remember, we accept our own and non-Chilly’s bottles. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the free shipping details. Please note, this service is only available for UK customers and that you will receive one voucher per package.
Package up your old, unused or damaged bottle. Wrap your bottle/s in leftover packaging – we’d prefer it if you use paper or card based packaging so we can recycle it - but you can use anything from a plastic bag to a shoe box! Send us your bottle/s for free by 1st July. You’ll have received a confirmation email where you can find your “Print your label at home” or go to an Evri drop off store with a printer with your “QR code”. Locate your nearest drop off location below.
We’ll verify your trade in once we’ve received your bottle/s at our warehouse. As a thank you we will send you a £5 discount off a Chilly’s reusable product. You should receive the code in your inbox within a week. Please note that the discount must be used within 14 days of receipt and is valid on orders over £36 not including excluded products. Any reusable bottle from any brand or company. Through this scheme we are trialling taking back more than just what we make to ensure unloved bottles are being recycled back into the value chain.
We accept reusable bottles made from almost any material, including plastic (reusable not single-use) or metal. Please note, the only type of material we don’t take is glass or ceramic due to safety reasons.

Chilly’s wants to collect unloved, broken, dented reusable bottles and recycle them to ensure the valuable materials they are made from are used again.
To take part, follow these steps:
1- On this page, log the bottle(s) you want to recycle. You can send up to 10 bottles in one go*
2- Download the free shipping label or QR code
3- Wrap your bottle(s) in left over packaging – we’d prefer paper or card based packaging so we can recycle it but you can use anything from a plastic bag to a shoe box.
4- Print your label at home or go to an Evri drop off store with a printer with your QR code (this will print a shipping label once scanned in store). We’ve got a map on this page to help you locate your nearest store. If you’re using a QR code, make sure you select one with printing capabilities.
5- As a thank you, we’ll send you one £5 Chilly’s voucher in case you’d like to buy a new bottle to replace the one you’ve sent us*. This should arrive in our inbox within a week of posting your bottle(s).

This is just the start of our trade in scheme. We want to roll this out across all product categories. The more people who take part in the trial, and the more we recycle, the more we can learn. Helping us to streamline the process now will enable us to roll out this scheme repeatedly.

We’re working with a recycling partner in the UK to recycle the old reusable bottles so that their valuable materials can be used again. We’ve selected this recycler due to its environmental and social standards, so we could be sure that the bottles are being recycled in the right way. This is demonstrated by its certifications, including ISO 14001 for environmental management, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001 for health and safety. Once we’ve finished this trial, we’ll be working with them to understand what recycling rate was achieved and how we can improve the process to ensure as much material as possible is recycled.

Thanks so much for taking part in the scheme! Once you’ve posted your reusable bottle(s), we’ll send you a voucher in case you would like to buy a replacement one. We’ll be working with our warehouse partner to separate the bottles into different key materials to then be sent to our recycling partner.

The value of your basket must be £36 not including the value of excluded products listed below. Please note, you are able to buy excluded products as part of your order, but the products included in the scheme must have a value of over £36 for the voucher to be used.
