Chilly's: What was the inspiration behind your bottles?
Elliot Snowman: My early influences include Japanese woodblock prints, Korean tigers and British artists such Paul Nash, Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth.
C: Can you tell us a bit about your typical creative process?
ES: I spend a lot of my working time in my sketchbooks. When I’m engaged with a larger project I will usually work with pens and paint on paper and the final steps are finished up digitally in photoshop or illustrator.
C: Could you tell us a little about your background and how you ended up doing what you do? Is this your dream job or was it an unexpected turn of events?
ES: I’m doing now what I've wanted do since I was a child. I feel very fortunate to do what I love every day.
C: What’s been a highlight of your career so far?
ES: I was asked to work on a t-shirt collection with Gucci last year.
C: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to any aspiring creatives?
ES: Draw a lot. Keep sketchbooks. Go outside once in a while.
Catfish & Tiger
The question is: which one to choose? Catfish or Tiger, Catfish or Tiger…
It’s the kind of dilemma we love!
No Chilly's Bottles are not suitable for dishwashers.
We recommend cleaning your bottle after each use with hot soapy water, please do not leave the bottle to soak. For a very thorough clean please use bicarbonate soda with water.
Whilst Chilly's Bottles are made of high-grade stainless steel which preserve the flavour of freshness of your drinks, if Chilly's Bottles are not cleaned it can lead to a smell or taste developing. For this reason, regular cleaning is highly recommended. When not using your bottle, we recommend storing it without the cap on.
